Woodland Photography – Basics

Receive a new camera recently? New to photography? Love woodlands and want to capture it at it’s beauty, like below? You’ve come to the right place.

I am really excited to bring you these half day group Woodland Photography workshops at Cannock Chase, catering for small groups with a maximum of 4 participants per session, keeping the sessions small so I can maximise my time with you all individually and you can leave the workshop with a good understanding of the basics of Woodland Photography.

What will I learn?

As mentioned, This course is aimed at beginners, where I will teach you how to:

  • Scout/find potential compositions
  • Work with the conditions and lighting available.
  • Use your camera to achieve sharp, well exposed images.
  • Tips on using phone apps for scouting and planning your images (Mapping, Weather etc).

What will you need?

  • No fancy camera gear required, even a mobile phone will do for woodland photography (at a pinch), but ideally any camera and a tripod is all you need to get started.
  • A desire to learn and a love for the outdoors.

What’s the price?

I am offering these workshops at a reasonable price of Ā£50 (per person) on the dates shown below, If small group workshops aren’t your thing I also offer 1-2-1 sessions which can be viewed here.

When are the workshops?

I have 2 workshops in Spring and 2 workshops in Autumn planned and expect these to sell out fast, so don’t delay!
